OVER ALPACA
Andina World has a lot of heart in it. We work with artisans from the far remote areas of Peru, with women who have few opportunities to earn an income and with people facing social challenges. All our products are handmade. From our textiles dyed naturally using native plants to our handloomed products using ancient Inca's technique, we try to preserve heritage .
Above all Andina World pays respect to the craftsmanship heritage and the people behind every product. Meaning that all our items are fairly traded, as every artisan has received a fair and honest payment for their work .
I hope that each Andina World piece adds warmth and beauty to your home and outfit for years to come and that you find a truly unique, one-of handmade piece.
Andina World, weaving life.

Weavers of Puno
This headband has been made by Don Tiodoro and the association he leads in the district of Palca. Made up of fifteen families of weavers, these families are heirs to traditional alpaca care practices, hand-spinned and dyed with vegetable inputs.
"Our raw material is the alpaca fibre. With it we make beanies, headbands, gloves, ponchos, from start to finish”
Made with higher standards. We preserve artisan craft by paying wages that average 2x the fair trade requirement.
Stomerij is de beste optie voor het verwijderen van vlekken.
Alpaca is een natuurlijke vezel. Het is zachter, sterker en warmer dan merino en cashmere. Alpacateelt is duurzaam. Alpaca's lopen vrij rond en worden één keer per jaar geschoren. Alpaca vezels kunnen tientallen jaren meegaan en zullen aan het einde van hun levensduur vanzelf biologisch afbreken.
