Our handmade scarf is crafted from 100% undyed baby alpaca wool, that is processed into a fine yarn after the alpacas have been combed out. This undyed state, guarantees the garment an absolute softness and comfort, thanks to the absence of the dyeing process. Produced in small batches and meticulously handloomed in our artisans' workshop in Peru, each scarf reflects our slow fashion philosophy. Our handlooms operate without the use of electricity, allowing us to create these scarves in harmony with the environment and using timeless techniques. The result is a truly unique, luxury accessory that carries the legacy of tradition and sustainability.

Experience the softness and warmth of the finest baby alpaca wool, sourced directly from the artisans and woven with care to provide exceptional quality. Andina World, kniting life.

Andina World has a lot of heart in it. We work with artisans from the far remote areas of Peru, with women who have few opportunities to earn an income and with people facing social challenges. All our products are handmade. From our textiles dyed naturally using native plants to our handloomed products using ancient Inca's technique, we try to preserve heritage .

Above all Andina World pays respect to the craftsmanship heritage and the people behind every product. Meaning that all our items are fairly traded, as every artisan has received a fair and honest payment for their work .

I hope that each Andina World piece adds warmth and beauty to your home and outfit for years to come and that you find a truly unique, one-off handmade piece.

Puno

Made with higher standards. We preserve artisan craft by paying wages that average 2x the fair trade requirement.

Dry cleaning is the best option for removing stains or occasional cleaning.

Alpaca is a natural fibre. It is softer, stronger and warmer than merino and cashmere. Alpaca farming is sustainable, as alpacas are free roaming and shorn once a year. Alpaca fibre can last decades and it will bio-degrade at the end of its useful life.
