Made of 100% organic cotton, the Chalán poncho is available in three colours: blue, green, and yellow. Where the blue poncho represents the Pacific Ocean, the yellow poncho represents the sandy beaches of northern Peru, and the green poncho represents the Peruvian Amazon.

Hand-loomed in the Peruvian Andes using traditional inca techniques, this poncho unites heritage skills with sustainable materials.

In the north of Perú we have a very special horse called “caballo de paso Peruano” also known as the Peruvian Paso or Peruvian Horse. It is an unique and elegant horse breed native to Perú. And it is renowned for its smooth, four-beat lateral gait know as “paso llano”, which is incredible comfortable for riders and has earned the nickname “the smoothest ride in the world”.

The Chalán peruano refers to the person who take cares and trains the Peruvian Paso horse in Perú. The Chalan is someone who feels respect for the Peruvian Paso horse and have a strong bond with it. The Chalán plays a crucial role in the development and training of the Peruvian Paso, teaching the horse how to perform its distinctive gait, the “paso llano” and other movements.

The relationship between the Chalán and the Peruvian Paso horse is crucial in preserving the breed’s unique characteristics and maintaining its tradition and cultural significance in Perú.

Alpaca is a natural fibre. It is softer, stronger and warmer than merino and cashmere. Alpaca farming is sustainable, as alpacas are free roaming and shorn once a year. Alpaca fibre can last decades and it will bio-degrade at the end of its useful life.
